I have not been to a game this year but last year at the S Miss game there was a kiosk out by the orginal ticket office. It didnt have a lot to choose from.

The book store over the summer had a ton of stuff to choose from. I bought a jacket and a pull over sweatshirt. I think they had jerseys but they were not the high quality stuff.

Many years ago BU had a sale during the red/white scrimmage and they sold everything. I have a game jersey with the name of Fhrommer on in, think he was a walk on from the 80's. Maybe they could do something like that again.

SIU also has a room they rent, 2 years ago it was in the Marriott across from Old Busch that sold a lot of SIU clothing in STL.

I would like a nice selection of clothing to buy in STL right in the hotel, but that is a no brainer to have at the CC during games.

I have approached the bookstore in the past about jerseys but have always been told they couldn??™t do it. Gonzaga has jerseys for sale online??¦

It seems to me that there would be a lot of people interested in a #20 or #14 jersey? Looking ahead, I??™ll also take a #5 and #41!

That seems odd. I know that NCAA rules don't allow the players' names on the back of replica jerseys but there is no rule against selling jerseys with just the numbers on them.

They do have some Majestic (I think) jerseys on clearance right now for around $38. . .they are not embroidered, but do have #33 and the current font on the front (no name on the back). . .not bad, but not authentic.

The bookstore has to order in tonnage. So, obviously, they can't just order everything everybody wants.

Here is an interesting promotion by Loyola. They will wear replica 1960's uniforms for their game with Northern Illinois Saturday, Dec. 15, then auction them off to their fans.

This is a good idea- Bradley should consider this--

Maybe this has been discussed before, but the Yahoo sports stores has some of the best BU stuff I've seen:

I visited Peoria from out of town last Saturday, and stopped by both the merchandise rack at Carver as well as Campustown at Grand Praire. I was appalled at the lack of selection at Carver, and Campustown does have the jersey t-shirts, but very little with the actual BU logo on it. The stuff on the yahoo site is more like it....

The bookstore has the best selection and Bradley has a special night at the chiefs baseball game where they have Bradley basketball night and the chiefs where Bradley baseball jerseys and have a silent auction for them during the game; I cannot figure out why the bookstore does not have a shop set up at the civic center before the games as they had one at the fieldhouse before the red-white scrimmage and were selling a lot of items as I had to wait in line for quite a while and spent over a 100 dollars myself; problem with the bookstore is the hours as a lot of people are working and do not have a chance to go there.

Bradley really misses out on promoting their team by not having a big supply of shirts-hats-jerseys-sweats...............come on .....you have to go out of your way making an effort to buy something nice with Bradley on it! The could promote this a lot better than they do....the Peoria Rivermen have a supply of game gear on sale at every game....so much stuff thats its hard to decide what to buy! BU could learn a lot from the Rivermen marketing of their team product!

And this is a shame. I have commented about this on the board here for quite a while. Last month, I went to the BU Bookstore to look for some sweatshirts and jackets. To be fair, late December just before Christmas isnt the best time to look for a large selection of merchandise. But, what I saw at the bookstore was the same old same old styles that really didnt make me want to buy the shirts etc there. The Yahoo site mentioned above is closer to what I think the bookstore should stock.

This should be a project for the individuals seeking a Marketing or Advertising degree at Bradley. I agree, there is a great deal of lost potential in this area.

Understanding we are known for Engineers, Bradley does have many successful options outside of Engineering degrees. I believe we have opportunities when motivated.
