Over the next 3 games

OK guys, how do you guys think we will do against Wright State, Butler, and VCU??

I think we bounce back and steal one at Wright St next week, drop the game in Indy, and bounce back against VCU. Certainly not the results we were expecting from our non-conference schedule, but I think 8-4 is the best we can hope for at this point.

That is what I am thinking as well, wins at Wright State and VCU at home, loss at Butler, but you never know. I think 8-4 is logical at this point. Another 3-4 losses in conference play would still put us in great position for post-season, but obviously it could be more than that. I see us loosing at UNI, MO. State, and probably Creighton or SIU with Illinois State being the wild-card loss.

Tough Stretch

Wright State - payback for the beating we put on them last year.
Butler - too good, especially for a road game.
VCU - payback for the beating we put on them last year on their home court.

I really hope I'm wrong but 0-3, maybe VCU since it is at home.

It's tough to argue with this. I'd like to think we have a shot at Butler, but they look very tough. I think we'll win the other two, though.

Call me crazy, but I don't think we should lose another home game all season. There is no team left on our schedule that should win in Peoria. None.

Totally agree. If we can come that close to beating a top 10 team then no one should touch us at home. SIU doesnt look like the team I thought and Creighton got hammered tonight at Xavier

Not to mention N. IA was getting handled by IA almost all night at home. I don't see a loss at N. IA. At Drake and Creighton maybe if they stay hot but not at N. IA.

We have to go 2-1 in this stretch, but I have a feeling it could be a 1-2 stretch. I don't think there's anyway we lose all 3.

We've pretty much lost our ability to 'build' a resume this non-conference season. It would take wins in all 3 remaining non-con games, plus SIU getting back into the Top 25 (and us beating them at least once) for us to have a chance to build any type of at-large resume. Yes, we played a tough schedule. But you have to win some of these tougher games for it to mean anything, especially at home. Losing them all says that you're just not good enough to be in the tourney. The committee is not going to give BU one lick of credit or consideration because we lost to Michigan St or Vanderbilt in close games.
