Oklahoma pursuing Mark Turgeon

There are rumors that Turgeon will be hired as the next Oklahoma Sooner coach. Nothing has been officially announced. But the Shocker fans are getting worried. Apparently Oklahoma is throwing a deal worth over $1 million at him.

They have already been turned down by their first couple choices.

Bad to see Turgeon go, but that would be a great deal for him.

Then again...

I am concerned about the possible sanctions against Oklahoma. Just ask Monson how hard it is to overcome it - or maybe even Amaker.

Mark Turgeon announced tonight at the Wichita State post-season event that he has signed an extension to stay at WSU and will not take the Oklahoma job.

Good News.........I think that with all the coach's coming back with the exception of GMcD........the league will get full respect!The stability of the coach's staying helps out with the name recognition and recruiting of course! IMO it's good news!
