I have to agree. Some might remember . . . I used to post on "the other board" under "bradleyrocks" but took a couple years off after that turned into nothing more than the "wizzing match" MacabreMob referenced.

But I'm back. This board seems to be the place where grown-ups can go to get really good information and enjoy some BU comraderie.

PS I live in Michigan but might come down for the banquet . . . still working on that.

Tornado some advice....

When you DO get the chance...just walk up slowly and calmly to B12 and say.."hello" in a quiet/normal voice.

Don't sneak up or suddenly pop out from behind a door or something.

I do not think so. With all the "spys" reporting on Sikes, I think we would have heard if another recruit was here.

I have heard that there are still recruit visits tentatively planned, which could mean that Bradley might not fill all their scholarships at the beginning of the signing period that begins Wednesday, April 12.

Or it could mean that there is still a possibility that new scholarships might still become available.

I also have really enjoyed being a part of this board. I am active on probably two others (not Bradley related). This one is my favorite because of the Bradley specific but not always rah-rah Bradley topics, and all of them are discussed for the most part with civility.

Basketball is also the major sport I'm interested in that I know the least about, but I'm never afraid to ask the stupid question, because the more knowledgeable members provide a complete but not condescending opinion or answer... so I just post what I'm thinking and sit back to learn from everyone else on the board.

Anyway, GO BRAVES.

I like that the people in the loop post here. Since I started checking this site in January it is amazing how many predictions from insiders have come true. I love the insight guys. Thanks, I wish I could add more than just my opinions but that is all I have. I also like that there is not a bunch of flamers here. Just BU fans with great information. I must admit that I wish some of the KU fans would come back on now.

This recruting season is very exiting. Keep me possted but you guys always do.

mexbu............DC is right..........my avatar is a picture of Marcus Sikes as a freshman @ Georgia..........at the time of the pic he was 220! The pic used by b12 was last years pic in juco now at 245! We are on board with Marcus and would really like for him to sign up Wed!

I am not in Canada but the country that Marcel DeSouza came from. If I see any recruits, I will talk to them, including basketball players.

Da Coach and Big Mike are correct in that my avatar is Sikes from his JC website. I chose it for 2 reasons: 1. I am terrible at trying to get a picture to fit as my avatar and his picture fit 2. I think that he (and possibly some others mentioned here) bring what BU needs next year with what is returning. I do not think that BU?‚??s biggest need is 3 point shooter.


I am looking forward to a good signing period. The next hurdle may be getting anybody to play BU if the program keeps getting better.

dru and O&B - if you thought the trip to Oakland was bad for me with the homeless guy, my flight in Atlanta was cancelled last night, put me on another flight arriving 5 hours later with an extra stop, then my luggage didn?‚??t show up. I am counting the days to retirement. By the way dru, Ms. ``uncontrollable laughter?‚???‚?? keeps emailing me the pictures from the Buena Vista and when I open them up, they are all garbled. Did you pay her money to keep those pictures out of O&B and my hands?

When did this visit occur? MW was on TV either Sat or Sun for the World vs USA game on fox midwest.......did he come after the game? This is just me but he kind of reminds me of SL.......maybe more aggressive? I would take either MW or TM at this point......both have major upsides!

It's a great board, just don't get paranoid and shut off the PMs or delete links directing somebody that is looking for certain information to another board......lol

PS, i'm also glad a ISU fan don't moderate this board......
