  • A little insight

I had a little conversation with Heemy the other day at Gormans and I found some of the stuff he said a little interesting

In asking him about if he liked Jim Les he said he didnt at first and no one really did this season at first because he would just yell at them all the time. Appearently right at the time of the Northen Iowa blow out Coach B finally got into Les' head that yelling at them isnt always the best thing. I guess he never really yelled at the players after that and continued those ways into the MVC and NCAA tourney.

In asking him about POB's return, he said theres no way hes leaving early. He loves being the big man on campus and having everyone love him. Hes definately coming back.

Heemy is probably one of the nicest kids you would ever meet and if you ever get a chance to have a beer with the kid i suggest you do so.

I never had a beer with him but have met Heemy a couple times. He will be a great alum for BU. Smart guy, he should be able to do great things as he moves on. Good luck if you read here Heemy.

I hope the PO'B news is correct

i forgot to mention that Heemy also said to watch out for Ray Brown

He said the kid is a scoring machine but needs to improve his defense and said he was starting to improve in that area at the end of the season

I frequently saw and talked to Brandyn at the church we attend. Brandyn has been a regular since he was a freshman. I'll miss him if he leaves the area. He is a fantastic young man and a credit to Bradley.
