  • Student Road Trip set for Ohio State Elite 8 Match

The athletic department has released the plans for the Ohio State road trip. Students can sign up for the bus trip for $5 which includes the transportation and game ticket. Early reports are for 6 buses for sure with 3 more if needed. We need to fill these up and get a huge crowd to Columbus! Sign up in the ticket office ASAP. The buses leave from Hausler at 5 a.m. Sunday morning and return by about 9:30 p.m. that night.

It would be wonderful to get a few hundred students to Columbus. They only had 634 (officially) at their Sweet 16 match - we can turn that into a home game with 6 bus loads of our students!!!

is it bad to say that I am so impressed with what they are providing for the soccer team? That is phenominal. I really hope this gets not only the community involved, but also the students. The soccer team has been an amazing athletic team that i dont think gets the recognition it deserves.

yeah, I've been debating whether or not to go, I really want to but I've just got too much crap homework to finish before the 10th.

You have 7 hours each way on a bus to do your homeworkif that helps convince you, some professors don't get in and are still assigning tests and papers that are due on the 10th

Not to mention that it is especially important to go now because the next game will be in the middle of finals time. While you can study on the bus, you likely wont have access to the internet and will be rather noisy. So get the huge crowd now and see what we can work with in the Final 4.
