  • Top juco recruits

Van Coleman, the recruiting guru for CSTV and Hoopmasters has published his list of top juco talent for 2008. Quite a few of the top 100 are already committed, and a lot of major schools that usually don't go after jucos are now turning that way.--

CBS Sports features live scoring, news, stats, and player info for NFL football, MLB baseball, NBA basketball, NHL hockey, college basketball and football.

Bradley commit Chris Roberts is #43, and there are several more kids on the list that Bradley is following.

Wouldn't recruiting more juco's help any school in terms of graduation % in a world of early NBA departures? That is now more important to big schools.

For instance, If POB's scholarship was used by another 4 year player, in a 6 year period, that scholarship gives Bradley a 50% graduation rate. If POB's scholarship is instead, used by 2 JUCO's, then Bradley graduates 2 out of 3 for a 66% rate?

You should add a "D" after your user name!

That assumes that all jucos do graduate from the 4 year school they transfer to, and I am not sure the percentages are any better for jucos as they are for 4-year kids.
