I purchased the online package again this year but it seems to me that the game broadcasts are only available live.

As I recollect last years games were archived and you could watch them whenever you wanted. Are they still available or am I missing something?

bubravestv sucks pretty hard this year, but its not Bradley's fault. I think NMNAthletics/XOS Technologies has made some severe cutbacks and thus quality has suffered. I cant get to many of the old games either, and if I can, they're games played from a month ago. They stream never starts on time, cuts out, sometimes doesnt have audio, and many times is of poorer visual quality than from last year. I hope Bradley finds a new way to deliver games next year.

Yeah, it's a little weird but understandable since some games are not our actual broadcast. I think all the Horizon league games are not ours, and the Iowa State game may not have been ours. So, we might not have the right to archive them. All the South Padre games are not ours too.

So far, I think FGCU and I expect the SEMO games to be archived. Not sure why Maryland Eastern shore is not archived. SEMO may take a day or two to be archived.

I guess it's a matter of perspective. We don't miss many games, but last night, we couldn't make it to the game because we were iced in ... 50 miles away in the sticks. Tuned in to the bubraves video feed and were greeted by the friendly and knowledgable commentary of Dave, Joe and Chuck and it was like family. I've been following the Braves since the days of Melchiorre, Unruh, Mann, as described by Chick Hearn and Jack Quinlan (then Quinn). Nothing replaces being courtside, but our current WMBD radio team is as close as you can get to being there. Their commentary combined with the video stream warmed this old Braves' heart immeasurably. Thanks, guys, for all you've done for BU.

P.S. If it had been Michigan State instead of SEMO, we probably would have been listening to Dave, Joe and Chuck from a ditch somewhere between Bloomington and Peoria. Go Braves.

I'd like to reiterate that the problems with the stream are not related to anything BU related, announcers, school, etc. Its all the company they stream through, NMNAthletics.

I'd like to point out that it's not worth $50 for the piss-poor broadcasts. I sent in the issue of the poor feed quality (cuts out a LOT-basically unwatchable) to the tech support and never got a response. I hate it, but it's my only option right now to get the games. I really don't care whose fault it is. It needs to be fixed, and the quality is unexcusable. They are stealing our money for the quality they deliver.

Please send issues into their tech support. Maybe it will make a difference...

I also don't advise anyone buy this service at this time.

THEN BRADLEY, AND PARTICULARLY THE BU ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT NEED TO GET THIS LINK OFF THEIR WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!

This may not be Bradley's fault but it reflects VERY poorly on them and is a sure-fire way to p!ss off the alumni and lose donations. Someone at BU needs to get off their @ss and get to the bottom of this -- get it fixed OR GET IT OFF!!!!!!!

I dont think there are too many options other than the current one. If there was only one TV channel, well, guess what I would be watching

Actually, looking at the archived games, the Loyola-Chicago game is archived. That surprised me. Though the dreaded "No Signal" error has a black bar across the top of the video for the first half of the game. I expect the SEMO game to be archived within the next few days.

I'm sure the Bradley athletics staff are aware of the issue we've all been having with the on-line video feed. I e-mailed Bobby Parker and complained a few weeks ago. I think it was after the Maryland Eastern Shore game. He replied promptly and told me they were well aware of the issue. It was even frustrating him it seemed. So, they're trying as best they can.

The last SEMO game was fine without a hitch. FYI to fans e-mailing Tech Support. Tech Support will do NOTHING about the issues we've been having. Every time I've e-mailed them I've gotten no reply or they tell me it's a problem with my windows media player.

I'd recommend seeing how the next game is. I think it's going to be VCU unless they add the Wright State and Butler games to the package. So far, it looks like they've worked out the kinks we experienced in the first few games.

Tomorrow night is my last game before I head West for the rest of the season. Was thinking of getting that package, but heard nothing but bad reports. I'll just listen to Dave and Joe and depend on family to send me tapes of the TV games. Of course the SIU and Bracket Buster, I hope, will be on ESPN.

I like the package and think it's actually worth all that we pay. Although the quality is a challenge some time you really get an idea of the game and how well we're playing compared to the radio.

I hope that this service continues in the future and that the demand stays high so the costs to produce get covered because even at it's worse it is better than just radio

I'm with InMnBob. For all its problems, I think the package is well worth the $50 for those of us who are out of state. Since the first game, which was terrible, I actually haven't had too many significant problems this year. Yes, the quality could be better, but it's a heck of a lot better than nothing or just radio.

                          Stuck in Ohio

I'm stuck in Ohio now so I basically held myself hostage and had no choice but to subscribe to BUTV. Lucky for me that I have DTV and be able to see the BU vs. Michigan State game tonight??¦at least I??™ll see one quality broadcast this year although I wish it we??™re in HD. I wouldn??™t have minded the $50 if more games we??™re archived and the quality was better. I ended up watching the BU vs. Loyola game on the Horizon network for FREE. I was also able to watch the BU vs. Indiana soccer game on the Indiana website for FREE as well. I??™m not sure why BU needs to charge for a poor product when others can give a better one for free.

I don't mind it really. It's frustrating when it has problem, but last year, it wasn't much of an issue at all. Hopefully they've fixed everything that had to be fixed. I think it's worth it, and I'll be subscribing next year too.
