*Creighton coasts over Drexel by 15
*Evansville gets "Bullied" (yes I looked up the mascot) by Buffalo by 17
*BU is down 4 at half, wins by 8 vs SEMO, more questions raised about lack of intensity out of the gate
*UNI blows out Loyola by 20
*ISU blows out UIC by 18
*Indiana regrets agreeing to this game @SIU, but pulls it out late by 7

        WOW....you gotta be kidding me....
        Jimmy Collins just turned 60!!!

I absolutely can't believe it....he looks at least 75 or older....
I guess college basketball does age a coach fast....

Here is a current picture of 60 year old Jimmy Collins

Creighton blew out Drexel on the road 72-48. For as much as they lost, they sure are looking good early in the season. It's amazing what Altman does year in and year out at Creighton.

                      Drexel is absolutely terrible.

7 of the 8 games are final, and the MVC has gone 5-2 with Indiana State and Evansville being the only losses.
SIU trails Indiana 34-28 at half

SIU loses 64-51. They were 0 for their first 13 from 3-point, until Matt Shaw made one in the final minute.

As I expected, poor outside shooting is SIU's weak point. They shot .375 overall, and were 1 for 14 from 3 (7.1%).

Looks like ISU is a lot better on their home court this season. UIC shot 29% for the game, and Levi Dyer had an awesome game going 7-8 from 3-point.
Official attendance 4,749, but lots of no-shows.
                              ISU 73 UIC 47--

And the other impressive wins were--

Creighton 72 Drexel 48 at Drexel
Crieghton only shot 4-24 from 3-point, but Drexel shot poorly too and turned it over 27 times--

                              Drake 77 Duquesne 73
                              Only 3,793 in attendance

                              UNI 61 Loyola 50
Poor outside shooting dooms Loyola again--
