Ugly?

Sports Illustrated has a story that details how in the NCAA
Title game, the UCLA cheerleaders
were talking trash and calling Joakim Noah "ugly".
Noah said, "It hurts when you have so many beautiful girls out there telling you how ugly
you are.... The best thing I could do was just blow a kiss by, and maybe they'd like me."

But I have to tell you, that UCLA is in no position to call anyone ugly.

It sounds like Noah is a class individual like his Dad, former pro tennis player. He is a great college player and will be good in the NBA.

I have to admit for the entire tournament we were all joking about how Noah, who I think, for the record, is a stellar basketball player, was the ugliest player around (taking the crown from Morrison). Then, I saw Mata, who we were calling Darth Mata due to his headgear, who immediately became the champion... especially when the mask came off.

I think those ears help him get better elevation

Even if he's ugly, he can still play.

On another point, the UCLA cheerleaders can basically say that anyone is uglier than them and be correct.
