I notice this at Loyola and last week, too. Both Brian Lavin and Cameron Sweatman were missing from the team that made the trip to South Padre, and to Loyola. I do not have an explanation for this.

And as Dave Reynolds noted in his article today--

Former BU players Joey Paul, Chris Mroz, Brandyn Heemskerk, Kevin Clancy (who also played 2 seasons at Loyola), and Lee Frederick were at the game.

I noticed at the UIC game, that Lavin was not at that game either. I was not at the Loyola game last night.

But I can tell the BU faithful that many of the people looking in on BradleyFans.com through the day are logging on from sites from Alaska (something the mods have the ability to discern).
So it is great that Will Egolf has brought some fine Braves fans in from our 49th state!
I had talked to Will at the tailgate. We talked about Alaska as we went there last year. Even my current avatar is of the northern lights over Juneau. Anyway Will said his parents conducted tourist tours in Haines. Then at one of our home games I see this big guy with a Haines emblem on the front. So I turned aroung and he had Egolf written on the back. I saw him later and stopped him and we talked briefly. He said he and his girl friend had just moved to Peoria and he was looking for a job.

DC, you forgot to mention or maybe didn't see Dave Kloubcher(SP)??. He also was there and is at many road games. What a fine guard he was in his day.

I remember Dave well. He was from Manual HS, and was great athlete in high school in both basketball and baseball. He played at Bradley from 1971-74, and was a teammate of Tommy Les. I probably would not recognize him now, but it's nice to know he follows Bradley.

By the way, Tom Les was also at the Loyola game, as he is at many games when his coaching schedule allows. Tom is now the head coach at Niles Notre Dame which Tom and Jim both attended.

Cameron is a Redshirt walk-on and would have to pay his own way to go the away games so he primarily attends home games. As for Lavin I'm not really sure...

So has there been an official announcement that Cameron will redshirt? I haven't seen that, and our gridologist, shaunguth does not show Cameron as a redshirt.
