  • Postgame thread- Bradley 64 Loyola 47

What a great turnout of Bradley fans!
I am just leaving Chicago after the 64-47 Bradley win. Again Bradley started flat and played from behind for 35+ minutes. But they finally got untracked. Sam Maniscalco sparked Bradley's 2nd half run. And Jeremy Crouch came up big with his outside shot.

And HOPEFULLY no one at the game gave incorrect updates of the soccer game....

You mean Bradley didn't lose at Indiana?

BU just can't seem to find 40 minutes of intensity. They found out what happens when you only play ONE good half against a good team in South Padre.

Nice D in the second half and its good to see JC heating up. I'm still troubled by our poor post play.

Nice win and congrats to # 1500 for the BU program.

Fire up for this Saturday and give me a nice birthday present.

Nice to see MS come up big at the end of the game! TW is my player of the game for all the hustle plays against taller-much bigger players and yet he still comes up with the ball! Good to se JC get hot again.....and nice energy from SM! Ugly start but nice finish to a game they could have lost .....only giving up 18 2nd half pts to the home team is HUGE! Take the W and get out of chicago I say!

Whoever posted the link to the Horizon League website...thanks. I was able to tune into the game at about the time BU took the lead from Loyola.

Also thanks to Da Coach for telling me about this website at the SPI this past weekend.

Looks like Ruffin's turnovers are up the past two games (1:1 ratio). It looks like he's trying to do too much when BU gets behind.

Bradley outrebounded Loyola 29-28, and shot 63.6% in the 2nd half.
Bradley has not been outrebounded in any game this season.

Andrew Warren didn't shoot well, but he had 3 steals, and scored when it was really needed.

Good defense on Blount. He took 15 shots to get 18 points, and he had only 2 assists.

Good road win as once again we got off to a bad start; our inside game has struggled lately and we do not run a typical post as our big men set outside screens and cut to the basket; Salley needs to hold on to the passes that are thrown to him as he would have several layups in the last 3 games if he could just catch the passes ;he is doing a better job of cutting to the basket after he sets his screen but now he needs to catch and finish the play. The 2nd half defense was outstanding as we really cut down their passing lanes.

DRU - postgame at Hoops? I got one for you on your day, but you STILL owe me one for the no-show after the Providence game at Jimmy's.

                          And welcome Lonestar!

Its nice to be aboard. I can't get much talk around here other than Longhorns stuff.

I think that the schitzo Braves may get better when they get a few more games under the belt. With all the JUCO guys and freshman, they haven't found their identity yet. Remember, it took the 2005-6 BU team about 20 games before they figured it out and kicked it into gear.

                            DC needs to get meaner.
Ruff needs to keep it under control when they fall behind
Does Egolf remind anybody else of an old BU alum from my days...Chad Kleine?

Chad was a pretty good 3-point shooter, hopefully Will can show us that, too. I think Will is a little bit more athletic. Did Chad ever dunk the ball?
