Hey Bradley Fans...

Section 9 is lower bowl, just to the left of the student section / band. Hopefully for your sake, you're not in row B or C, because with all of the students standing, you might have a slightly obstructed view. If you're a few rows higher, those are great seats as I've sat in them many times. Other than missing a tiny section of the corner on the far side of the court, you should be able to see every one of Bradley's three pointers well!

We sit in sec 10 and used to be in 9. There are usually some visiting fans sitting in 9 lower bowl. Some of those seats are considered "obstructed view" due to the students. You will have a nice time with the fans who sit there most visitors do.

The ones that usually have a hard time usually don't know how to cheer as a visiting fan(i.e. SIU!?) or can't handle alcohol consumption during high intensity college hoops.

You will have an easy entrance to your seats through the "new" ticket office. Park in the Jefferson Street garages or lots. Some also park on the streets around Adams. About 1 block south of the arena.

i don't know what you guys are expecting! i'm certainly expecting a little more noise than when we're blowing out Maryland Eastern-Shore! there are a lot of old people there but it will be anything but quiet in the civic center when msu comes to town!

Sparticus the civic center will be loud but not as loud as you have come
to expect at a Big Ten game. Just using the Michigan game here a few years ago as an example...no rap against us with that comment intended... A lot of people here are fired up about this game and want to see how BU will fare against MSU so i expect the crowd to be electric. Parking across the street is $5 and is my preferred place to park.

There are also numerous places to park for free away from the Civic Center and take a shuttle bus for $1 per person each way. VOPs is one and know there are others. The bus drops you off at the gate and picks you up there.

rows 4 and 5 are the last two rows of the lower bowl....you will not have any problems with obstructed views.

I know there are going to be a lot of Bradley fans at this game. And there will be a few Michigan St fans. But just take a look around when people put their coats on to leave.... take note of the UIUC coats and/or UIUC hats.

It still amazes me how often I see UIUC gear at Bradley games. People must be so insecure about themselves to be associated with Bradley that they have to wear something from UIUC at a Bradley game.... and we ain't even playing them.

After what Larry did at Iowa State, I'd say he deserves some heckling.

THAT was the funny part.....it would have been TOO easy to give LE some grief about his "incident" but I never uttered a word to him about that. Didn't say much at all towards him until games end and even then it was some innoucous comment about one of our players 3 point prowess.

I was mored scared of his mom sitting behind me then him.....she had a fully packed purse and I was waiting for a blind shot across my starboard side.

I'm not worried...I'm always fine in Champaign. And from what I've heard I definitely won't be the only Spartan there-and not even the only one in section 9.
