  • Trip to Bloomington for soccer game

I have been really impressed over the last couple years with the administration's and alumni's interest in the Bradley sports, and another of such of ideas has come full circle. For the Bradley soccer game at Indiana wednesday, the Braves Club is offering bus trips to Bloomington for the game. The trip is $20 round trip for non-students, and free for students. I may have to find a way to get out of my three classes that day so I can go.

    bubraves story -
Bradley picked up its first-ever NCAA Tournament victory, topping DePaul 2-0 Saturday night at Shea Stadium to advance to the second round and will face perennial national power Indiana Wednesday in Bloomington, Ind. Senior Stephen Brust (Arlington Heights, Ill./John Hersey/Cedarville) and sophomore Justin Bigelow (Auburn, Ind./DeKalb) netted the goals for the Braves.

Wow, thats one heck of a deal. $5 for a trip to Bloomington, IN to watch the 2nd round game. With gas prices nowadays you would think this trip would cost a student at least $30. Unfortunately I can't go but that bus should be jammed pack for sure.

I'll be there, and get in for free, as I am an IU student against my will until I can afford to go elsewhere, or can become an IL resident. GO BU!!! PM me if any of you would like to meet up or need to know anything about the arm pit that is Bloomington.

actually the trip is 100% free for students. The $5 is just to reserve your seat on the bus. You get it back when you actually board the bus. I'll be there, let's get as big a BU contingent as possible. IU will have around 4-5,000 people there. It's going to be a great atmosphere. GO BRAVES!
