Ok, I've seen some pretty "interesting" predictions, but seeing as I haven't drank any kool-aid yet, here's what I see the rest of the way:
Loyola-W We finally overcome the house of horrors wednesday
SEMO- W I will puke if Rembert beats us at home looking ahead to Mich St.
Mich St-L it's a loss guys...they are better than us
Wright St-L they are still very good and we lose this revenge game
Butler-L- much better than us and Hinkle is impossible
VCU- W
plus a win in BB and it's 8-5 Non-con
We sweep the Drake, In st, Evansville, lose at SIU, ISU, Creighton, and Miss St, and finish 14-4(2nd) in a weak valley this year.
22-9 going into the SLU, we win two but our drought at the tourney title hits 20 years, losing to SIU, but beating ISU in the 2-3 Semi gets us to the magic number of 24 wins and a berth in the Dance!

Michigan St isn't better than Vanderbilt, at least not at this point. We beat Vandy if it's at Carver, and we beat Michigan St on the 4th.
I'm not going to predict anything right now, but we have a tough month of December, followed by a January where we need to stack wins, because I don't remember a February in recent memory that's tougher.

23 - 8 for me. I think Michigan St could very well beat us, but I don't think they're much better (if any better) than Vandy, and we'll be at home. Also about Wright St, they're apparently pretty good, but they looked completely awful last season when they played us, so I'm going to chalk that up to a bad matchup with us, and so I think we'll pound them again.
Well, I think i'm ready to make an end of season record prediction. I think after the horrible loss against UIC and the heart of a fighting team they showed me tonight, here's is what I believe will be the results, baring a major injury....

Overall record prediction of 24-6 with Bradley beating SIU for the conference tourney championship. Bradley, SIU and Creighton get into the big dance. Collins will be starting by mid-season and averaging a double double a game along with Warren as most improved player of the year.
You forgot the Bracketbuster game. Therefore Bradley will be 25-6!
We are pretty much where I thought we would be at this time in the season. I didn't think we would lose that first game but then I-CHI came out like gang busters and shot a % that they may not match all year and through up shots that normally would not have gone in but some how did. A lost that I did not predict at the beginning. I figured they would lose to Vandy as they are a very good team w/ a lot back from a Sweet 16 appearance last year. We can't look past any team but MSU is very good but beatable w/ it being at our place. I predict that as my upset of the year for BU. We will probably lose one of the two games between WS and Butler w/a win at home against VCU. That would make us 9-3 entering conference play. That would be fantastic against this caliber of teams that we will have played. I realistically believe that we can be 13-3 or 14-4 in conf (13-5 at the worst) and get a BB win would give us a regular season mark of 25-6 or 24 & 7 w/ 3 wins in SL 27 or 28 wins and then get 2 more in the Big Dance and make another Sweet 16 trip and we are pushing 30 wins on the season. No I have not been hitting the kool-aid either. I just feel that as some of the players start to get more comfortable in the O & D of the team that we will just get that much better.
That probably is true, but isnt that really what everyone was saying and thinking before we played UIC?
Winning road games in Dvision 1 is not easy regardless of who you play.
Yeah I really still cannot explain that UIC loss. But since then we've only lost to Vandy and were at one point at a 25 point deficit and came back to within 1. We also were behind by 8(10?) early in the Iowa game. If we lose, it will be a long shot fluke.
Just to think that we fought hard with a solid sweet 16 team on the road and this was only the 5th game with almost a whole new start/bench rotation. This team gets better with every game and will be very hard to beat come conference time. Especially if they can consistently keep the TO's in the 10-15 range, then they will be near unbeatable.
I'm 1-0 gang, BU beat Loyola by 17 and I had it a win by 10. Next up is SE MO State with a BU W by 5 but i'd like to change that to a W by 20. SE MO State has really stunk it up since my predictions LOL. I'm warming my bus up for STL for the pair that said they would pay my way LOL.
Well, i'm 4-1 in my season record prediction so far. I think the SIU road game will make up for my MSU home prediction error. Had the SIU game as a L but i'm changing that to a W.
I'm not into making predictions much, but after 1/3 of the season, and seeing what the rest of the league looks like, I think reasonable predictions can be made. I see 22-9 regular season with at least 1 win in St. Louis, with a trip to the NCAA's to follow. I don't think this is Jim's best team, but I think this is his best opportunity in 6 seasons to win a league crown. 22-9 will get it done.
BTW - You'll hear me talking about this for the next 2 months, but BU needs to get George Mason in the BracketBuster for a lot of reasons. Let's hope for that matchup.
