Am I the only one who thinks JC cannot dribble? 6 to's last game and close to that this half...shoot the 3 or give it up!

He could not do any worse then Salley ; I still wonder why he continues to start and play so many minutes when his stats are bad each and every game.Comment

I don't believe the style of offense we play is the best suited for JC's strenghts!
Usually point guards posses the best ball handling skills, not shooting guards. I believe
he is being ask to do some things that he is not comfortable with for good
reasons and great team players do what is ask of em -- jc is a good D-1 player.heading north!Comment

Well seeing how most of our TO's in 2 of the last 3 games have come from JC and Ruffin, (11 TO's a piece), Les needs to work with them closely in practice. I think some of Crouch's dribble problems come from the unfamiliarity with the newcomers. Not knowing where they are, the timing of when to look for them, etc. Dribble less and look more. Ruff, well he just needs to slow down. We have 7 newcomers and he's a 5th year senior. Have to get the timing down and them used to being thrown a rocket of a pass when not expecting it. Never had these problems last season, things will work each other out.

As for Salley starting, I really have no true answer. Yeah he's decent on defense but Collins has outperformed him by far in every game. I don't think it would of changed our 2 losses but we would have performed better. I guess Les is just wanting Salley to get as much playing time being this is his Senior year and wants the best for him after college. That's the only thing I can think of.

No chacne Coach Les is playing him because of what may or may not be best for his future. He must be doing some things in practice and on the court the we (the fans) are not seeing. I said last season that Salley hurt us more than he helped us. He takes shots clearly out of his range. He should shoot nothng but layups. As for JC, IMO the tighter defense on him this season is affecting his whole game and he is getting rattled. Hope he plays through it.What part of illegal don't you understand?Comment

If Jim continues to start Salley, we will continually find ourselves in big holes like we were last night...he's not good enough and over his career at BU, he has played exactly two games where I remember him having games that warranted a start....and one of them was against our next opponent....LoyolaComment

I remember when we got him, they were comparing him to Sommerville. Oh how I wish. Then again Sommerville never had to play center, but if he was on this team they'd probably have him do it. Start Collins, or at least give the most minutes to Collins.Charge On Charge On Bradley!Comment
