Sorry, but I have to disagree. Bradley fans never get tired of hearing the fight song, especially when the opponent needs a timeout. Not being able to play it because of a schedule is ridiculous. I'm not saying play it constantly, but when it's appropriate. Next game watch the crowd when you play the fight song and then watch them when you play splish slash.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

One thing to keep in mind here is that I am guessing there are about 45-50 people in the band... --just a guess--- with all the excitement of people standing and yelling etc during a game, I would think that it is very difficult for everyone in the band to be on the same page if things are changed up at the last minute. Not the band's fault at all... But again, it can be very difficult to communicate surrounded by people going crazy.....

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Cue cards could solve that problem in 2 seconds though.

There is always somebody wanting something different each time we play a piece.

I don't know if you realize it or not, but this year, I don't think they have played any recorded music! We are playing more than we ever have over the past few years! Instead of continuously arguing over what song should be played where and blah blah blah, just enjoy it!
Yeah, I realize you guys have to follow the "script" given to you because in the end it boils down to money. I just wish they would be a little more flexible so that you guys could have more options as to when, and what to play at certain times of the game.

Ironman always sounds great at a basketball game when played by the band. Its my favorite song my hs band plays (besides their fight song)
