They play Tenneessee-Chattanooga at 4:00pm ET today.

If they win today, they'll be on ESPN2 at 3:00pm ET tomorrow against either Mississippi State or UC-Irvine.

???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Andrew Warren is climbing the scoring chart. He's gonna be a good one.

Daniel Ruffin just took over the MVC lead in assists per game, as Bryan Mullins
only had 4 assists in today's SIU game and his average drops to 6.5apg.

DRuff's 7.75 in 4 games is now tops in the MVC

I think Ruffs assist average will be up around 8 or 9 a game once this offense really gets in a flow or when the Turnovers get cut in half. The newcomers are getting better every game.

That's quite a statement, considering only 1 person in the nation averaged over 8 assists per game last year (8.7 by Jared Jordan of Marist), and only 1 person averaged over 7 assists per game (7.3 by Jason Richards of Davidson). The previous year, only 2 people averaged more than 7 APG. Daniel Ruffin was 32nd in the nation last year averaging 5.4 assists per game, and 34th the year before with 5.2 APG. I would expect similar numbers this year.

Looking at the current Braves stats......a couple of things come to question......

Does WE have a "green light" on shooting the 3's? I know right now he is 0-6 and TCS is 1-8 but I know TCS hit 192 in 2 seasons of juco so I want him taking them .....pretty soon they will start going in! But is WE also good at making 3's........just a question? I know at 1st every time TW took a 3 I cringed.....but when they started to go in (4-9 on 3's) I wished he would take the open ones he has been passing up in the last few games!

Shouldn't DC get more of MS's minutes....more rebounds, more points and I think he is really improving on the D!

Anyone else happy that DR decided to come back for a 5th year? Look at his stats so far this season.......

                  In 5 games DR has an avg of 31.6 mns a game, a .459 fg, 16 3's for a .444, 16 of 17 ft for .941, 13 rbs, only 7 fouls, 38 assts to 16 to's , 13 stls and 88 pts for a ppg of 17.6!

Not bad for a kid considered by the big schools too small to make a difference in D1 ball!

I think Will does have the green light when he's open. In practices, he shoots the 3 as well as anyone on the team.

Notice the rebounding ranks. Wilson #10. Collins #15 at part time minutes. Salley doesn't even crack the top 20 in boards and he plays double Collins time. Salley is 7th in blocks though with Collins at #10.
