Good questions. After all the hype when he was recruited it seems funny that he can't even get off the bench. Anybody out there know why he's not playing?

Austin has dressed every game, but has only played against UMES. If he's unhappy about his situation, he has no one to blame but himself. He's the one who needed the entire summer to get straight academically, which put him 2 months behind the rest of the team development-wise. Unless he doesn't want to play at the DI level anymore, he will make it through the next 2 years.

Its been said that Austin stayed to receive his Associates degree, which would make it easier to transfer credits from the JC...so for someone to say a guy should be blamed for trying to achieve academic success is totally in the wrong...

Also, I felt like he showed a lot of promise in the few minutes he did play on Sunday...4 points and a few rebounds in a very short spurt...before too long, I think we should see him more...If not, I disagree and do not see him returning next year and instead going the D-II route...After seeing his numbers in the JC Nationals and what little I have seen of him, I feel like he could be a breakout player...I just hope we can see it.

Almost no coach at the Division 1 level has a regular player rotation that includes over 10 players. That's how many played against FGCU. Right now RA is #11.

Right now the team is playing fairly well that we can barily find enough time for da big man Collins. Austins time will come next season or if an injury happens which better not.

i completely disagree jason. we barely beat florida gulf coast so we are certainly not playing "well enough". also, collins NEEDS to play more! he always plays well the minutes he gets and nobody is showing me much else inside. and rashad.... if he doesn't start playing a good amount this season, he will not be back next year. i wouldn't want him back!
