Point him to the airport. I don't know when the team is flying to South Padre Island, but he should be at the airport now just in case.

I really thought he could be a big time scorer but I guess I was wrong.

Don't you think it's a little premature to say things like this? Take a look at Will Franklin's first few games. He gave no indication that he'd turn into an all-MVC caliber guard. Cole-Scott is a very talented basketball player. He'll be fine.

TCS is a lot like me on this board.

He had a quality first exhibition. We haven't really seen him since.

I had a decent opening post. Haven't been seen since.

We'll pull through together. I gots yer back TCS.

I think he is still trying to adjust to d-1 ball; I also think he will be fine and he has improved his defense.

Will Franklin was a minor contributor early in his junior season after missing those first 6 games. By the end of the year, he was a valuable as anyone.

While I think we should be fair and at least wait until 2-3 games into the conference season to judge TCS, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly disappointed in what I've seen so far...thought he'd be a little farther along by now.

also... why is it that TW is not shooting when he has those WIDE-OPEN shots!!!???!!! He has a great shot and needs to be more agressive!

I wouldn't say he has a 'great' shot. He only shot 20% from 3 last year, and he seems a bit awkward with his release. But, to your point, when he's open and it comes within the flow of the offense, he needs to shoot the ball without hesitation. If he doesn't, he'll get the JJ treatment (where they don't guard him). He's confident in the 3 right now, so I don't have a problem with him taking a couple now and then. But, as stated above, it needs to be within the flow of the offense, and he needs to be wide open.

i agree. take the three when he's wide open but not any other times. we need him to take it to the hoop.

I'm just agreeing with what everyone else is saying, TW does NOT have a great shot, an OK shot I'd say... But if he's wide open go for, otherwise, make the extra pass or drive to the hoop. I don't want him to start taking long jumpers, his game is 12-15 feet and inwards...

As most others have said, he needs to slash it to the hoop, it looks like he jumps off a trampoline when he goes up for the shot. Need to get the O to set some screens and get that man inside some more.

I don't care what Theron's shot looks like...he is making it so he needs to shoot it when open....

It just gives opposing coaches another headache to worry about!

I wouldn't even want to imagine how bad it would be for other coaches on a night that JC, Ruff, A-Dub, and T-W are all on and we have Collins, Salley, or Egolf hitting the boards hard inside...

Can I hope for that on December the 4th?
