Did anyone see AP's shot from the other side of the half court line that hit nothing but net? WOW!

Anthony was Toronto's leading scorer in the Raptor's win over Memphis on Wednesday with 19 points. And tonight, the Raptors play the Cleveland Cavaliers and superstar Lebron James. Parker may be called upon to defend James.--
Chris Bosh and LeBron James could be on the sidelines Friday night when the Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers tip off at Air Canada Centre.
Here is an interesting stat that some NBA experts use to evaluate individual players and how much they help their teams. It is the plus/minus adjusted per 40 minutes for the 2006-2007 season.
The thing I noticed is the Anthony Parker finished #14 in the entire NBA. Every one of the 13 players rated higher than AP is a multiple time NBA All-Star!

I might add the author mentions Sagarin a couple of times, for his similar model and as a consultant for Dallas. No mention of Ken Pom. I add this per our RPI discussion on another thread.

As for my defense/use of the RPI... I subscribe to Jerry Palm's site. I like what he offers for a very reasonable price... beyond just the RPI. I use it as a personal tool to check schedules and outcomes... and with his historical data, it is my site of choice right now.
