What's the deal with him? Is he in the dog house? Everyone plays but him so far. I thought he was our big recruit that the staff wanted even more than Charlie.
I guess if a guy isnt playing in this type of game.. he is either in the deep part of the doghouse or is a serious candidate for a redshirt. My guess is he is in the dog house or is not anywhere close to contributing as a basketball player.
Can't understand how he goes from a great recruit to not being in shape or ready to contribute....
I read an interview somewhere a while agi where he said he'd be happy as long as he gets to play.... that was before he got no playing time--we'll see what problems this creates moving forward.
I hope it's a red shirt option and not a disipline one. Hate to waste the scholarship
I am at the game, and have a laptop, in case anyone is wondering why I am posting. This UMES team is the worst coached team I have seen in years.
If they actually have any patterned offense, I have yet to see it. It's just 5 guys running around and then one of them goes 1 on 1 and shoots. And their defense isn't much better. Bradley can get good shots about any time they want.
Halftime score 53-28. If Bradley hadn't played their deep subs most of the half it could be a lot more lopsided than it already is.
Someone asked Coach for an update on Austin during the last Jim Les radio show (last Monday). I don't remember the specifics of his answer, but it gave me the impression that Austin is not going to be in the rotation anytime soon. It sounded like more of a readiness issue than a discipline thing, although it is hard to understand how the guy who was supposed to be the most ready to contribute of the new guys can be that far away from doing so.
