  • BU soccer wins MVC Tournament title 1-0 over Creighton

Bradley (13-5-3) plays Creighton (11-1-5) for the MVC Tournament title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament today at 1:00 pm at Morrison Stadium in Omaha, NE.

The game is televised on FoxSportsMidwest (channel 57 in Peoria), and I also believe it's on Comcast Chicago (channel 56 in Peoria).

    Go Bradley!

How many years has Bradley played Creighton in the MVC championship? It seems like forever. Hopefully we win. Go Braves!

A big congrats to the soccer team for finally beating CU and getting the automatic Valley bid!

OMAHA, Neb. ? Bradley senior Stephen Brust (Arlington Heights, Ill./John Hersey H.S.) blasted home a goal in the 89th minute off a cross from freshman Rudy Garcia (Peoria, Ill./Notre Dame H.S.) to give the Braves (14-5-3) their first-ever State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament title with a 1-0 victory against #7 Creighton (11-2-5) Sunday afternoon at Morrison Stadium.

I was sitting during halftime of the BU basketball game, in the lounge with the BU soccer game on the TV....
when BU scored and there were less than 2 minutes to go, the University Pres., Dr. Glasser and the rest of the fans in the lounge went wild!!
I tell you, she's a great fan but she's already brought us one Conference Title!!!
