Next BU opponent--Maryland Eastern Shore beats Stonybrook
I agree 100%. A lot of us on this board took UIC and an atleast 4-0 start for granted. Not looking so much past UIC but figuring they would be worse then even their team last season. So, even if the names are hyphenated BU can not look at all past either. 2 very strong 20+ wins will make playing these two RPI kills a little less hurtful.
If we beat Iowa (Should) and Vanderbilt/Utah st ( we will have to bring our A game) those 1st. 2 games will be a distant memory.
Maryland Eastern Shore has had some pretty decent teams in the past.

When was that? Their RPI has been in the upper 200's/300's for the past 5-6 years. They checked in at 332 out of 336 last year.

Yea Bradley Brave. I think Grassman is a little confused.
But I can't fault G-man. Probably just a victim of the 'drive-by media'.
2003-04 season, MD-ES played at UIC. And let me just tell ya how it is down here in the corn fields of C Illinois with those O&B fans. They will joke 'bout an opponent they have never heard of weeks and days before the game... as if the opponent became D1 that year... but then game day, there are 2-3-4 or more articles about how the opponent is a "world-beater" and all the sudden the talk at the water-cooler is nervous (but still cocky)....
I just roll my eyes.
Chrimenettly.... I had a UIUC fan approach me today (and as we avoided talking about college hoops keeping it strictly biz)... he brings up just as he is about to leave and says "Maryland...."
So I had to stroke him and say "Yea... makes a UIUC fan feel kinda good to see a team they didn't blow away take an ACC team to OT... maybe NE'rn is pretty darn good this year."
Cheeze-n-rice.
So basically - everybody UIUC plays is pretty good.

If my memory serves me correctly, and God knows it might not, they seem to give some ACC teams a game every now and then.
When? Do not recall. I just think they are probably better than Florida Gulf Coast who inspite of living 2 years on the "Florida Gulf Coast", I have never -ever heard of.

Maybe it was Maryland Atlantic Coast or Florida Eastern Shore I remember.
In any case, I case I was delusional for a brief moment. I'll go take my drugs and get better.

LOL! Yea... it was one of those two... either MD-Atlantic Coast or Florida Eastern Shore. (good self-deprecating sense of humor, I like that )
