Please do not add them. Just stipulate a minimum number of minutes. We don't need to skew the results. BTW, I love it when the walk-ons can contribute.

Hey, cut the kid some slack....
David Collins had a game that a lot of college kids can only dream of......10 pts, 14 rebounds.....IN JUST 18 MINUTES OF PLAY!
and a good defensive effort as well.
I doubt the seven turnovers are legit, as at least two of them were very tough passes that could well have been TO's on the guy making the pass, and a couple more were on plays where DC went for tough rebounds and loose balls, then lost the wrestling match with one of the opponents, so he was credited with a TO.

I thought it was in the best interest of everyone if I stuck with the positives here.???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

David Collins is the 4th leading scorer, and leading rebounder on the team, despite playing only 12.8 mpg. The numbers per 40 minutes are even more telling. What in the heck does this guy have to do to play? Jim is constantly singing his praises, yet continues to slight him on minutes. DC not playing is hurting this team.Onward and Upward!

Turnovers and fouls are keeping him out right now. I do think he will get more time as the season progresses. Right now we have only one loss....would the UIC game have been different had he got more minutes...I dunno.
JL is bringing him along slowly...granted to slow for some but I gotta trust JL on this.
The NEXT step in Collins progression is a mean streak. He still rebounds and is soft with the ball. Grab it and either keep it up high or pull it down and smother it. Theron Wilson does this quite well.....he skys for the ball and when he hits the floor you'd have to use a pry bar to get it released.

It is so early... I take the bad with the good.... I love what I see along with love the potential.
I hope/think everyone will continue to gel and get better.
I'd rather win a war than a battle... ie, do well over the season and into postseason than win a certain game or two. (beating Mich St but finishing 10-20 on the season would be a disappointment to me)
