  • Notable LOI Signings

No official announcement from BU as of yet.........and I will only mention the ones with significance to either the top teams or locally...

Vienna's Brett Thompson has officially signed with Saint Louis

Ed Davis has inked with UNC

Kentucky has received the paperwork on Darius Miller that the Illini sought so desperately and who was responsible for Tracy Webster being hired away.
DeAndre Liggins' LOI is not yet signed but expected this afternoon at UK.

Iowa State, tonight's Bradley opponent, just announced four LOI signings.
Guards Dominique Buckley and Wes Eikmeier, forward Clinton Mann and center Justin Hamilton make up McDermott's latest recruiting class.

All are relatively unheralded 2 and 3-star players, and were "under the radar".
Of interest, Buckley, Mann, and Eikmeier were unlisted by the major recruiting sites until after they committed last fall to Iowa State,
but none could sign until the fall of their senior years and in the interval (could simply verballing to a BCS school really elevate a kid's ranking? ) they suddenly rose in the rankings.

Bradley gets their expected two Letters of Intent
PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley men's basketball team will host Iowa State in its home-opener tonight, but sixth-year Braves head coach Jim Les had his eye on the future this morning with the announcement that two recruits had returned their signed National Letters of Intent.? High school point guard Eddren McCain (Laplace, La./Reserve Christian H.S.) and junior college swingman Chris Roberts (Fort Worth, Texas/Dunbar H.S.) both have signed the NLI's and will join the Braves for the 2008-09 season.

let's see if we hear any more news..........
BU has at least one, and probably two more scholarships for 2008
If we don't hear more news, then Coach Les will work hard to try to fill those scholarships with players who excel this high school or junior college season!

I'd like to officially welcome Eddren McCain and Chris Roberts... good to get the verbal turned into the letter of intent.

ISU got their letters of intent from Bobby Hill, Jeremy Robinson, and Kenyon Smith.

Speaking of Bobby Hill, who is now at Lincoln College "getting his academics in order" as we have been taught to say....

Lincoln College won again last night to pull even at 3-3.
They beat Rend Lake, 77-60, with DJ Lindsay getting 20 points, and Bobby Hill got 11 points.
