  • Checker-board

Ideas like this may have been discussed already, but I was thinking of something crafty that we could do (the crowd) to be unique. This is probably not in the realm of being realistic, but after a few drinks with my buddies at Gormans I think we should try something. The checker board... and please just listen. The white out is fine, The red out is fine, but all have been done over and over; time and time again.. This is probably going to be shot down right away, but it will be pretty cool if somehow we could get red-white-red-white-etc...going. Would it not be so cool to see on sportcenter after beating Michigan State? Again it is only an idea. It will probably be near impossible to get everyone to do it perfectly, but it only has to be close. Just one idea of many. Go Braves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would probably be next to impossible to do in an arena filled with 10,000 people. I think they're gonna have a hard enough time doing "Stripe the Arena"
This is just the tip of the iceberg...

I think the "Stripe the Arena" will work out if they are broad stripes, like having every section a different color.

I'm planning on not wearing pants. I figure my that makes a stripe. Red shirt, white bottom.

I don't think it would be too hard, just have the event staff put shirts on chairs in the pattern you want before everyone gets to Carver. Every other chair could get a red or a white shirt or blocks of 4 seas.

You should show up early to the game and do it

If I didn't have to work, I would show up early and do it, and I'm serious. If you had 10-20 people putting out the shirts it wouldn't take all that long to set it up.

If Yale can pull this off on Harvard, we can form some freaking checker patterns.

It would probably show up as PINK on TV. Unless you were a Peoria Prancer, Pink should not be used as a sporting event promo.

So we might not be able to do words, but we can do checker patterns!
