Jim Les radio show is on tonight on WMBD 1470 6-7 pm

I hope people will call in with their questions about the game Saturday and what adjustments we'll see Wednesday night.

Coach said Matt Salley was a little injured prior to the game? Didn't know that.

No one did. Good job by the staff in keeping that hush-hush. Hopefully we'll see a different MS on Wednesday. Last year he won the Iowa St game for us with his 1st half offensive explosion. Hopefully we get that Matt Salley Wednesday.

Also I credit Jim with taking some of the blame by playing Ruffin 40 minutes on Saturday. It was something I thought was unnecessary, and it sounds like something Jim maybe wishes he had back. Again, losing sucks, but I really think it was a great learning experience for this team, players and coaches.

Jim also noted that they've spoken to Sammy M about giving a step, because he's getting toasted off the dribble (not in those words though). Hopefully we'll see some improvement by Sammy on the defensive end moving forward.

Per a caller's question, JL expects two LOIs tomorrow.

Per another caller, JL discussed Austin's situation. It's mainly just being behind because of arriving late. Work hard and catch up.

I would expect more TCS and DC against Iowa St, and possibly more sets with 2 bigs in at the same time (Iowa St is outrebounding the competition by an average of about 14 rpg).

Iowa St's best player, Wesley Johnson, is questionable at this point. He was held out all weekend, but JL says he expects him to play.
