Seriously though, I don't wish them bad things in that a winning non-conference record benefits everyone in the Valley. Hopefully they get things turned around quickly.

The other 2 MVC games--

Northern Iowa beat Cal-Poly 62-55 in the second game of their tournament. Coleman had a much better game off the bench, 19 points, 11 rebounds. 4,417 attendance.

Drake goes to 1-1 with a loss to St. Mary's in round 2 of St. Mary's Tip-Off Classic. Josh Young had a pretty good game.

So after going 4-0 on Friday, the MVC goes 1-3 on Saturday, with the only win being Northern Iowa's home win.

Drake goes to 1-1 with a win over St. Mary's in round 2 of St. Mary's Tip-Off Classic. Josh Young had a pretty good game.

Drake actually went to 1-1 with a loss at St Mary's. Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, Young fouled out of a close game with 7 minutes to go....apparently on a foul that another Drake player clearly commited.

Yes, sorry, thanks, I already corrected that. A newspaper up here in Chicago had the results reversed and showed Drake winning, but the Yahoo Sports link is correct.
