It would be nice if Michigan State could come into Peoria Dec. 4th undefeated and highly ranked. But they have struggled in thier 2 exhibition games, losing to Grand Valley State last Friday, and defeating Michigan Tech in a close game last night.

Hmmm.....could this be a scam on the same proportions as the Peoria Kings debacle?
Just who is it telling us Michgan State is a top 10 team, and that Drew Neitzel is a National Player of the Year Candidate?
Sorry, I am not buying it just yet.
Against pretty ridiculously low level of competition, Neitzel has 12 pts/1 asst. & 10pts/4 asst. and has already been logging an average of 37 minutes per game to compile those rather mediocre stats for a POY candidate!! -
Maybe the star-studded talent isn't interested in giving 100% til it is against someone meaningful. Michigan St is participating in the CBE Classic (starting Nov 12th) along with UCLA (Mizzoo and Maryland).... maybe that's when they will turn it up a notch.Comment

I read NOTHING into these games.....they are "pre-season" for a reason. MSU will be good....BOOK IT.

Michigan State was 1-8 in road games last year. (I did not know that.)
After last year's game, I think Jim Les has something to prove. Look for a focused group to come out this year.
