Findlay is a good Div II team. They were picked #5 in a preseason poll for Division II. And they took Dayton to the wire before losing 81-78 in their first exhibition game on Nov. 1.
I wanted to beat anybody to it. My comments reflect what would be the common excuse for the loss.
In all honesty, IMO - I bet OSU (although experimenting) tried to win and YES - it is embarrassing.
If 2 MVC schools had lost like OSU and MSU have... the "mouthpieces" would be all over it.

Consider them as tuneups and nothing more.

Just like Jim Les was on the team to do better in Sunday's 2nd half, I am sure Thad Matta definitely tried to get his team to play better in their 2nd half and win, and yet he still lost.
No these games don't mean anything in the standings, but I am sure they tried to win the game.

Sure but you can bet that if Bradley had lost their exhibition to Quincy, Phil Theobald would have come out of retirement to rip into the kids and the coach.
