I can understand some folks thinking the intro was too long last year but I liked it. I'd be OK if they shortened it a bit. I think we did it to get the kids and the crowd pumped up and proud of our tradition (from the recent past to many years ago). It gave me goose bumps every time I saw it-I hope they have something similar this year.
My favorite pre introduction gig of all time was when Frank Bussone was the PA guy and he would say "they're on their way, they're ready to play, your Bradley Braves." The band would play the fight song, the cheerleaders would run around and the fieldhouse went wild.
I loved the Intro, but I was always confused. The video touted the Sweet 16, but I would be touting those Final Fours and NCAA Runner-ups as much as I can. Not to many teams out there can claim those. I dont care how long ago it was.
And i do understand that the sweet 16 had just happened, but i digress.
