Was the game televised?
The first game on Insight will be next Saturday at U of Illinois-Chicago.
Also, it was announced that the game will be broadcast on Insight channel 44 in Peoria and East Peoria.

how about that block by ruffin?!?! i was right by the basket there and it was one of the most impressive blocks i've ever seen!
for those of you who didn't see the game.... ruffin went up and blocked a layup on a fast break. the guy was medium-tall, maybe 6'5" or 6'6". he jumped from the other side of the basket and was in the air for a good 10 seconds! we started a "daniel ruffin" chant.

That was one amazing play by Ruffin. IT was insane in the front row of the student section
I knew that Ruffin can grab the rim, but his hand was at least as high as the top of the shooting box on the backboard. It was amazing.
Also, some of the early fouls on bradley could have been because of the student section. There was an exchange with one of the refs after an early call, one that was clearly terrible, and that ref went on to call at least 3 straight fouls on Bradley.Thinking is the hardest work, that is why so few people do it. -Henry Ford
Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.

Just returned from the game. The refs called everything, no flow to the game. This included 4 carries, 2 on Sam M, 1 on Cole-Scott, and 1 on Quincy. We have to clean that up. I don't even notice Ruff any more, so many superlatives its become too commonplace. A Dub looked much better this game and took up the slack left by Cole-Scott although Cole-Scott didn't force anything and still had a nice game. Will Egolf was much better this game. Nice to see Collins shoot free throws so well. JC started slowly but did alright especially shutting down Cameron Murkey in the 2nd half. Austin seemed to be odd man out on minutes, but it is still early. It is nice to have so much depth. I don't know what the official count will be but my guess is 6000 actual butts in the house.

Game story from BUBraves.com--
PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior point guard Daniel Ruffin (Peoria, Ill./Central H.S.) turned in a double-double with 22 points and 11 assists and teamed with Bradley's other four primary backcourt players for 73 points as the Braves (2-0 preseason) displayed another second-half offensive explosion en route to a 105-82 men's college basketball exhibition victory versus Quincy (0-2 preseason) Sunday afternoon at Carver Arena.? A preseason candidate for the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year award, the 5-foot-10 Ruffin did a little bit of everything Sunday, adding two rebounds, two steals and an impressive blocked shot in his team-high 27 minutes of action.? Sophmore guard Andrew Warren (Indianapolis, Ind./Brebeuf Jesuit Prep) added 19 points off the bench and the Bradley backcourt also got 15 points from senior guard Jeremy Crouch (Pekin, Ill./Pekin H.S.), nine points from Tyrone Cole-Scott (Waterloo, Iowa/East H.S.) and eight points from freshman Sam Maniscalco (Chicago, Ill./St. Patrick H.S.).? Quincy guard Andrew Muse led the Hawks with 22 points and Cameron Murkey chipped in with 19 points and a game-high seven rebounds.? Quincy also got double-digit scoring from Marlon Jackson (13 points) and reserve forward Cody Stoneburner (11).

Always great to see a 7-footer make all six of his free throws. I don't know how you keep Warren out of the starting lineup after what he showed today! I'd have Ruffin, Crouch, Warren, and Salley as starters for sure next Saturday.

i like the fact that we have a bunch of shooting options. warren, ruffin, crouch, tc-s, maniscalco, and even egolf can hit em occasionally.
i think wilson is a great addition because he's not one to take shots but simply do the dirty work, whether it be great defense, rebounding, or setting picks."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."
