  • 2007-2008 Bradley media guide

I just got a copy of the Media Guides for the 2007-2008 men's and women's basketball teams. All I can say is wow. The BU athletic department have always done a great job, but this year's guides are even a step better than past years. The photography, articles, and design and layout are the most professional I have ever seen for a college media guide. In fact, I can't say I have ever seen a professional team media guide or program done any better.

If you are a Braves Club member, you'll probably get one in the mail. If not, pick one up at the game Sunday, or at Bradley. Every thing you would ever want to know about past teams and this year's team is there. And the women's guide is slightly smaller (because of less historical facts to list) but equally well done.

Congratulations to Bobby Parker and the entire staff for another job well done.

I got to peek at one last night. Didn't have the time to devour the info on the new players. Bobby Parker and everyone does a great job. I hope Mr Parker can spare a copy for me.

I've been a member of the Chiefs Club, now Braves Club, for years and have never received a copy of the press guide in the mail. Is this something new, or don't I give enough?
What part of illegal don't you understand?

I'm also interested in buying a media guide.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

I know in years past they were sold at the Red-White game and at the first scrimmage of the year in the Fieldhouse but I didn't see any this year for some reason?

I was told at the game Sunday that they would be available at the next game, which would be next Wednesday. Should I buy one or will the Braves Club mail me one? They never have before.

The Braves Club site (I am never going to get used to not calling it the Chiefs Club) says bronze level and above ($300 and above level) get a press guide.

I refuse to call it the Braves Club. I will call it the Chiefs Club until someone has a court order making me stop.

Don't worry, most of us continue to say Chief's Club. And I notice when I say that to anyone at Bardley, they never try to correct me.
Everyone is OK with the term Chief's Club, except for the NCAA. So for official purposes, the name will always show up as Brave's Club in any official releases from Bradley.
