  • Top Player Changes His Mind

The kid who is rated as the top junior college player in the nation is asking out of his letter of intent and plans to go elsewhere.
Ty Morrison, who was the #1 rated junior college player in the nation, had signed a LOI to attend Missouri this fall.
Now he is asking out of his commitment.

"My family and I have been talking about this since coach Snyder left, since day one," said Redlands College forward Ty Morrison. "We have come to the conclusion that I am going to try to get out of my letter of intent."

New head coach at Mizzou, Mike Anderson, is trying to get present MU assistant Melvin Watkins to stay on as assistant so the recruits will want to still come.

Perhaps Morrison is looking to another midwest school where JUCO's go to thrive?

      Illinois State?
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

Another top recruit, Chris Wright has renegged/withdrawn his verbal.

He has verballed to North Carolina State, and now that NC State head coach Herb Sendek is going to Arizona State, Wright will "reopen" his recruitment.

Chris Wright (Rivals FIVE Star) is Class of 2007 and is one of the top 3 point guards in the nation, behind OJ Mayo & Derrick Rose.

          And here's even more............

Devan Downey, super frosh at Cincinnati has just said he is leaving in the wake of a coaching change.

Tyler Smith, one of Tennessee's top recruits who left and went to prep school rather than play for Bruce Pearl, and who is considered one of the top recruits this year is leaning toward Cincinnati, but may still go to Pitt.

There are several DePaul players who are leaning toward leaving.

What names have you heard, and is it because the don't like Wainwright or his style?

Another top player changes his mind.

The #2 shooting guard in the nation (in Class of 2007) is Alex Legion.
He had committed to Michigan, but not he has "decommitted, and is transferring from his high school near Detroit and enrolling in Oak Hill Academy.

Rumor is that this will open the door for Patrick Beverley to go to Michigan

Just today, most sports pages have this headline:

"Cincinnati freshman guard Downey to transfer"

Not sure why they took over a week to get this onto their headlines?

Ty Morrison is now released from his LOI and is close to deciding where he'll go.
Rumor has it that he will choose Creighton.
But during the season he suffered a knee injury and his stock has dropped severely.
Missouri didn't even make an effort to get the kid to keep his word on the LOI, they basically wanted to cut him loose.
Also they compare the kid to Najeeb echols, who also was once a fine player but became mediocre after a knee injury.

Missouri hosted Stefhon Hannah this past weekedn and word is that Hannah was very impressed with new coach Mike Anderson.
It will be interesting to see if ISU stays in the running.

If you are referring to ISU as Illinois State...they don't have a scholarship for Hannah....they gave that scholarship to Boo Richardson. Were you talking about Iowa State?

I meant Greg McDermott & Ia State, as Illinois State is out of the running.
McD landed one of Hannah's teammates and was interested in SH as well.

                          Who are "they"?

Absolute lies spread at Tigerboard to save face due to losing a recruit to CU. Saying things about Isacc Miles too cause we beat them out for him.

You really shouldn't take stuff from a board full of jerks like that one and write a note here making it sound like you are some sort of authority on the matter.

He is healthy and he is good.

It would be very, very humorous if Hannah ended up at Iowa State.

Their 2 point guards would be:

                            Hannah and Dodie Dunson.
