This article discusses how it would be much better for the Philadelphia Sixers to lose
a few more games and fall out of the playoff picture (this would benefit the Bulls), then use their
lottery pick to take perhaps Patrick O'Bryant.
It worked for them a couple years ago and they ended up with Andre Iguodala.

POB if you do go to the sixers you'll never see the ball with Mr. Iverson there so just wait at least another year and improve your stock.

Patrick, The Sixers have "History" with past Bradley players. Hersey went there and was paired with Johnny Dawkins.
They became Dawk and Hawk. Problem was Hawk never saw the ball and was shipped to Seattle. In Seattle Gary Payton would not give him the Ball either. He would either take it himself or dish to Schlempf or Kemp.
He then went to Charlotte where Mugsy Bogues imitated Gary Payton, Schlempf and Kemp were repaced by Mourning and Johnson.
The other Sixer was Anthony Parker. Parker hardly saw the floor, yet alone the ball. ended up in Israel where he is a star!
So Big Patrick, avoid the Sixers and the Iverson show like the plague. They have a sordid history with past Bradley players.

The teams that do not make the playoffs are considered the lottery teams. It was 13 teams since 1995, but because of expansion, for the last couple years it has been 14.

These non-lottery teams are given a draft spot by being assigned random sets of numbers and a pingpong ball device selects the numbers. The teams get more or less sets of numbers based on their records. Here is an explanation of how it works--

Important dates to remember:

April 29th is the last day to declare for the Draft
and
June 18th is the last day to withdrawal from the draft (As long as you havn't signed with an Agent)
