Class of 2008

The number of unsigned players in the Class of 2008 is dwindling.

Bob Gibbons (recruiting expert) was just quoted today saying only 16 of his Top 100
have yet to be signed.
In the Rivals Top 150.....only 28 remain, and only 21 of the top 100.

Bradley may not sign a Top 100 player, but we do still have at least one scholarship left for 2008, and possibly two or three since I am sure Xavier Crawford isn't coming and Cameron Sweatman may not get one.
So anyone have a guess who BU might still be looking at in the Class of 2008.

I am gonna gamble we don't... I am guessing it will be a shocker during the signing week. It will happen via a little news blip from Dave Reynolds mentioning to read the full story tomorrow in the PJStar. The Reynolds blip will hit somewhere between 2:30 and 4:30 (times I usually don't get on the web)... and by the time I log in around 9pm, there will be an 8 pg thread on it.

I say we will sign 3 players during the fall signing period and will have room for 1 more this spring.

Jim Les has done well picking up players in the spring (Will Franklin, Theron Wilson, David Collins, Ty Cole-Scott, etc...)
I think JL will wait and see what's available next March & April.

I think ryan t. will get strong consideration for one of the available scholarships next year.

I think we'll sign two, one combo guard (non-juco), and one center, hopefully another seven-footer.

I like Ryan but if he were to get a scholarship why not give him the one we have open right now?
