I did talk to Dave Snell about the process, but I would imagine whomever it is, they must be ready to roll. I know that WTVP has its crew lined up, so I just figured the men's tv deal with Insight would be done as well...
I have heard an announcement may be forthcoming yet this week...
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???
a portion of an email just sent out by athletics....
PEORIA, Ill. -- For the second time in four years, Bradley has brought local coaching icon Chuck Buescher out of retirement, but the former Braves assistant and Central boys head coach will not be on the bench during the 2007-08 season. Instead, Buescher will serve as the lead analyst for the eight Bradley men??™s basketball games Insight Communications will produce as well as a second radio analyst for the other 23 games on WMBD AM 1470.
Buescher will team with another Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame member on the Insight television broadcasts as Frank Bussone will return as the play-by-play talent. A member of both the Bradley and Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Halls of Fame in recognition of his broadcast work, Bussone provided television play-by-play for the Braves in the 1970s and 1980s for broadcasts on WTVP, WHOI and primarily on WEEK. Bussone, who received both his bachelor??™s and master??™s degrees in communications from Bradley, also worked with Mort Cantor on WIRL radio broadcasts of Bradley Basketball.
