  • Bradley Exhibition Games on WMBD radio?

Anyone know for sure if the Bradley exhibition games will be broadcast on the radio and thus available over the internet too?

Unlike last year, the red/white scrimmage was not available online. So, hopefully, the exhibition games audio will be available online for fans who live outside of Peoria.

I don't know if other games will be available, but here is the current list of streamed events on the BUBraves.tv and it does not include either of the exhibitions, or the game at UIC.--

If anyone has verified information about this, please post it.

I think that page only has the streaming video links. That's the thing. I think it's supposed to contain all the live events (both audio and video). If you look at the bottom, there's a icon that is supposed to represent if the event is going to be audio only. It's that speaker looking thing.

Last year, this page was pretty well updated with future events for both audio and video. I think the Jim Les show was even on this schedule. For away games that were only available on WMBD radio, you could go to this page and use its link or directly to the wmbd radio webpage. I wonder why the audio-only games aren't on here though. (hint hint to any Bradley University staff that lurk on this board.)

I've gone ahead and e-mailed the bubraves.com customer support and wmbd though. So, we'll see what they say. Anyone know of a more pertinent university staff member I can contact about this though? The problem with e-mailing bubraves.com customer support is that I don't think they are university folk and are more like technical support.

I would think the Sports Information Director would be able to help you. But.... I see titles have changed and some new ones created. Try working your way up this chain of command.

        1
        Sports Information Intern:
        Bryan Moore
        bwmoore@bradley.edu

        2
        Assistant Sports Information Director:
        Jim Rea
        jrea@bradley.edu

        3
        Associate A.D. for Communications:
        Bobby Parker

Here is what I have learned from the BU Athletic office--

WMBD will be broadcasting both exhibition games, and the audio streaming will be available through www.BUBraves.com and www.1470wmbd.com .
But neither of the exhibition games will have video available.

I think that's been the status quo the last 2 years, so I am not surprised.
