I think they have the potential to be more successful long term, SLU recently left, and to be honest, I want to keep the tourney in St. Louis and don't want any one to have home court. In addition I'm not a huge fan of Majerus...

I became a fan of Majerus when he used the 2 1/2 gallon water jug as a punching bag in the Maui Classic a few years ago (I think). That was awesome! And when they showed it in slow-mo in the replay... even funnier.

SLU isn't well supported in STL right now. I'm not sure how long RM will be there either, but they do have a new stadium for next season that will be on campus, which should help attendance.

Evansville seems do be doing a good job of pushing themselves out of the valley anyways. They really don't belong either... I agree Butler would be great-probably better than SLU in the long run.

I wonder what the long-term plans are for UNI and MSU. They both seem to want to have more significant football programs. They would each make decent CUSA or MAC members if they want to play D1 football.
