ESPN is really high on them. They should be pretty good and when you play the defense they play they seem to always be in every game. I like Tom Izzo's teams and this will be our toughest game even though it is a home game. I give MSU credit for scheduling this one and JL for working it.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but you guys signed a 2 for 1 deal with MSU didn't you?
Just curious as to how BU fans feel about a deal like that. There has been some discussion in the past on our board, on VT, shockernet, etc. and I'm sure on here regarding doing 2 for 1's with BCS schools. I for one, think they are OK to do once in awhile but not regularly. It is great to get a big team like Mich St to your home arena though, no doubt.
You guys have a great sched this year, especially with Iowa St, Mich St and VCU all at home. But I was just curious as to what your fans think of the 2 for 1 deal...is it good or not from your perspective ?

Bradley's 2 for 1's with Michigan State and Iowa State are ok in the minds of most BU fans I have talked to.
Let's get real, if you want to play a team that's perennially in the rankings, you are going to have to negotiate a deal like this, although in these cases, the deal is really 1 and 1 with a third game at a neutral site, but Des Moines and anywhere north of Chicago sure aren't true neutral sites for BU.

I can see the disadvantage of a 2 and 1 since we'd give the opposing team home court advantage twice vs. our one, but if we're playing a good opponent like Mich. State, then I don't have a problem.
Sure that's more road games for us, but a road win at a school like Mich. State is worth more...if we can do it. Plus, having schools like this on the schedule is pretty impressive and I bet it helps recruiting better talent.
