  • Bradley gets votes in preseason ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll

    In the first ESPN/USA Today Top 25 coaches poll, Bradley receives votes to place 17th among "others receiving votes". Bradley received a total of 7 votes. SIU was ranked #23 in the poll. Note that Creighton coach Dana Altman is a member of the board of coaches that vote in this year's poll.

    PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley men's basketball team received seven points, tied for 17th among the "others receiving votes," in the preseason ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll and five Bradley opponents also received votes in the preseason poll of coaches, which was released Friday morning.? Michigan State, which will visit Carver Arena for a Dec. 4 (8 p.m.) tussle that will be televised nationally on ESPNU, checked in at eighth overall in the preseason ESPN/USA Today poll.? If the Spartans are able to maintain their position, they will become the highest-ranked team to ever challenge the Braves at Carver Arena.? Bradley has not faced a Top 10 ranked team at home since downing #8 Tulsa, 82-79, in the last regular-season game played at Robertson Memorial Fieldhouse Feb. 27, 1982.

      I think its inevitable to see both Bradley and SIU competing with eachother in the Top 25 poll.
