  • Preseason Conference Preview from "Hoops Report" - Bradley is the Predicted Conference Champ!

They don't list a precise prediction on order of finish but they do list BRADLEY as the Conference Champion
and they say a few things that let on how they feel and they appear to discuss the teams in the order
they are predicting the finish, which is:

    1-BRADLEY
    2-SIU
    3-UNI
    4-Creighton
    5-Drake
    6-Evansville
    7-ISU
    8-MSU
and oddly they never mention the existence of Wichita State and Indiana State, so I am guesing they are 9 and 10!

Here are a few specific comments:
"Southern Illinois should still be one of the top Missouri Valley teams throughout the season"
"Southern Illinois, Bradley, and Northern Iowa are the top three teams going into the season."

    Projected Player of the Year:
Eric Coleman 6-6 C Sr. Northern Iowa

    Projected Conference Champion:
    Bradley Braves

    Dark Horse:
    Missouri State Bears

Here is their blurb on Bradley:
"The Bradley Braves return their top four scorers this season as they attempt to make a run at a tourney bid. Senior guards Jeremy Crouch (13.8 ppg) and Daniel Ruffin 13.8 ppg), and senior forward Matt Salley (7.1 ppg) return to lead an experienced Braves squad."

Credibility went out the window when he/she says that BU returns their top four scorers.

Can we do away with the quotes, or do we have to see the same thread every post?

          Huh?

You could try clicking on the 'carrot' in the box titled "Last Post" in a thread forum for each thread. It takes you to the last post right away.

MMob, that's not my point. I've seen on every post on this subject the conference predictions top to bottom, etc. We know what the subject is, why not just give opinions without all the quotes.

Hoops Report picks Michigan State to win the Big Ten--

                  Their "darkhorse" is Minnesota.

Tubby is a good coach. But not that good.
