Amckillip, sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you weren't a "real" fan. Reading this board as much as I do, I know better. I don't go to as many road games as I used to, but I can see your point about not wanting to miss classes, etc. GO BRAVES
What part of illegal don't you understand?

I am thinking about the Butler game. For those of you that have taken these trips. Is there beer on the bus?

It's been a few years since I have taken a bus trip, but I might do one or two this season. Bradley does not provide beer or snacks on the busses, but people are free to bring their own, and many do. Some bring pillows, iPods, and other entertainment for the longer trips. Sometimes the host will run tip boards (anyone who has been to the Itoo Hall event know what I am referring to) during the trip and give away some nice prizes.
Both Butler and Northern Iowa are about 4 hours each way.

For anyone that has not been on a bus trip it is a very good time and are reasonably priced ; you can bring your own cooler packed with whatever you wish to bring and they stop to eat after the game.

That must be four hours by bus, for those of us driving don't plan on being in the car that long, at least not to Butler...

Also is it possible to get tix with the people on the bus without taking the bus?

I talked to the BU ticket office on Friday asking about purchasing tickets without taking the Bus for the Butler game (since I am flying in from Houston and then heading to Peoria). They indicated the Bus trip was $58 per ticket. They said they would sell the tickets alone only if they did not sell out the bus trip. If they don't sell out the bus trip they will release the tickets at that time (fairly close to the game date). However, if you want to make sure you get tickets you should get them from Butler. I was asking because I wanted to sit with the BU fans but I may just end up buying tix from Butler (I'll be the red dot in the sea of Blue).
