Sportsline Previews

For what its worth, Sportsline is previewing the top 13 conferences in the country, one per day. So far its been the WCC at 13 and the Colonial at 12. I don't know, the write ups seem pretty mediocre to me...but anyway its something to check every day instead of working.

I betcha they put the MVC around 9....I think with number of starters in the conference graduating last year I think its easy to downgrade the predictions this year....we'll see...

Actually I can tell you that I just got done reading the CBSSport.com basketball preseason issue
cover to cover....and here was my review of it.............

and the online writers are all the same guys, including Garry Parrish, that write in the newsstand issue.

One thing quite certain to me is that to a man, all the CBSSports writers don't seem too impressed with any of the mid-major teams or conferences, and they really seem like they are labeling the Valley as being DOWN this year.
I would be surprised if any mid-major conference is above any of the SIX BCS conferences,
and I would think they'll list the A-10 & C-USA as the top two non-BCS conferences, with the Colonial and MVC right behind.....they now have the Mountain West at #11

I don't think they'd have the Horizon in there, since they are so weak after Butler.

Well the MVC checks in at #8 today. Why can't I figure out the other conference previewed to be ahead of them? The 6 BCS conferences and.....?

EDIT: Disregard that. MVC checks in at #7. I have problems counting sometimes.
