BU has one scholi to give this year. Will it go to Ryan Thornton for the one year only? No point in wasting it.

I think you are correct, so give in to Brian Lavin.

          What do...

          T. Cole-Scott and A. Thompson have in common.

Winner gets to buy me an "orange whip" at BU's first home game.

Just because he sits doesn't mean he can't be on scholarship...

They are both a foot in height difference and exactly the same weight.

He has to sit and not play, but transferring doesn't mean he can't be on scholarship.
Jeremy Fears used a year of scholarship after he transferred.

OK, then give it to Thornton, but don't waste it. Give it to someone.

Just wondering why Cameron Sweatman wasn't listed. Is he going to be on the team?

How much would receiving the BB scholie affect the receipt of other scholies / grants that he, as just a student, receive in future years? Although Adams never complained.

So apparently they didn't slap any wieght on him since signing-day? I know he is quite athletic, but 6'10" 186 lbs. is borderline anorexic. If he didn't bulk up some, I thought for sure they would red-shirt him. At the D-I level, the odds of him playing successfully in this day and age of physcial ball are slim (please prove me wrong Anthony, I won't mind). Could you imagine him against SIU? It would not be pretty. Buckets of pasta with veal sauce, beef ragut, and pleanty of chicken breasts and steaks, with hours in the weight-room are quite neceassry in this case, I think. Any thoughts?

Does he have any guard / shooting skills? There are guards of that height.

I do not think there is any advantage to announcing a red shirt right now.

I saw Anthony play a number of games in HS and no he is not a 6'10 spot up shooter. Egolf may be that type of player but Anthony is not. I think Anthony will be a real asset in the future but he needs to put on a bunch of weight and it is unfortunate if he has not put any on since arriving in Peoria.
