Indiana State University coach Kevin McKenna received a commitment from Koang Doluony, a 6-foot-7, 175-pound forward originally from Sudan, who played at Omaha Bryan High School in Omaha, Nebraska last year. He missed two months of his junior season with partially torn PCL and MCL ligaments in his knee, had a good summer with the Nebraska Bison Red AAU team. He had offers from Wisconsin-Green Bay, Youngstown State, Bowling Green and North Dakota.
Doluony averaged 8 points and 7 rebounds per game during his injury-shortened season at Bryan. Indiana State now has all it's scholarships for 2008 spoken for. They already had commitments from Carl Richard, a 6'5" G/F from Oak Lawn Richards High School in suburban Chicago area, and Tyler Cutter, a 6' guard from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
