New Mexico just hired a new head coach, former UC San Diego head coach Eric Olen, to replace Richard Pitino, who took the Xavier job.

Mikey Howell played at UCSD for 4 seasons. He then transferred to Bradley in 2021 as a grad transfer with one year of eligibility left. He played at Bradley in the 2021-22 season, mostly as a backup point guard to Terry Roberts. - https://bradleybraves.com/sports/men...y-howell/12722
Since leaving Bradley in 2022, he has been on staff at UC San Diego under Eric Olen. He was DBO for one season, then was promoted to assistant coach at UCSD the last 2 seasons.
