Jake Koch, brother of 6'8", sophomore UNI forward Adam Koch tonight gave a verbal commitment to join his brother on the UNI team.
Jake Koch is a senior (class of 2008 ) from Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, and is also 6'8", 215 pounds. He is rated the #4 player in Wisconsin in the class of 2008. His agreement with Northern Iowa is called a 4 for 5 deal, where he will agree to walk on his first year and redshirt, then will get a scholarship for the next 4 years. He took an official visit to UNI this past weekend. He averaged 11 points and 6 rebounds as a junior, but he has had a good summer with strong performances in several AAU events.
He is not in the Scout or Rivals databases.
