I think it's for the best. The coaches can't wait for a ruling - they have a job to do.

With 15 scholarships in total, I wouldn't be surprised if one is left open for him or a mid-year transfer.

Times have definitely changed where players finish all 4 years on teams where they have signed their letters of intent. Really disappointing. The NCAA has wrecked college basketball with the portal and as I’ve said before that the midmajors have become the farm club for the power 5 conferences. If you are a midmajor like Indiana State last year and win 30 games you don’t make the NCAA Tournament unless you win your conference championship unless you’re North Carolina and get in with 13 losses! So ridiculous!

Agreed. And the power conference schools are afraid to play the strong mid major schools so we can’t at-large our way into the NCAAs.

The only way I see getting the Power 4 schools to play mid majors is through legislation, or the threat of legislation similar to Florida State/ Florida football back in the day…
having worked for a Florida State alumnus, FSU had legislators craft a bill mandating Florida play FSU. The bill was never brought up for a vote, but the threat got Florida to move.

I could see C.D. possibly going to Colorado St. since Foster is there because it is close to home.
